Illegal or just Unethical?

Stalking is illegal therefore Cyber Stalking is also illegal because like in person, stalkers can become dangerous even online. (Domestic violence resource centre Victoria, 2013).

The police can be contacted if you feel you are being stalked online(Domestic violence resource centre Victoria, 2013).

Stalking your girlfriend or boyfriend, or even ex is illegal in Victoria (Domestic violence resource centre Victoria, 2013).

Cyber stalking becomes a crime when it involves any of these:

• using the internet or phone in a threatening way, harassing or offensive way.
• Any type of Threats
• accessing internet accounts without an approval of the account owner
• Defamation.
